Have you ever been following someone on the highway and realized you were following the wrong car? When you realize what is actually happening your heart just sinks. The person in the passenger seat says, "What's the matter." You hesitate to tell them the painful discovery.
Thought of the day: Is there anything in your life worth someone else following.
We all have areas of our lives we want to improve. We all have certain parts of our lives that we don't want others to follow. However, 1 Corinthians 4:16 says So I urge you to imitate me. Paul didn't hesitate or shy back from telling other people to follow his example. So many times we hear celebrities or well known leaders say, "don't look at me to be a role model."
It is my prayer that my life can be an example to others on this side of heaven. May your passion for Jesus and commitment to Him cause others to want to follow. May your servants heart and love for others cause others to reach out and build relationships with those who don't know Christ.
No, our lives will never be perfect. But remember, it's not about perfection but direction.
